John 4:43-54 | Prayer Prompts
There is a passage in Mark 9 where a father of a demon possessed son seeks Jesus out to restore his son. Jesus answers him saying, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." The father responds with a prayer many of us are familiar with. "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!" Perhaps given the account we have read over this week, it would be an excellent challenge for us to join in this prayer. Examine your heart and areas you may have struggled with faith or areas that you have excelled in believing. Recognize those and ask the Lord that He would help your unbelief. Put your faith in Him and remember this:
6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
