Proverbs 31:22

22She makes tapestry for herself;
Her clothing is fine linen and purple.
-Proverbs 31:22

The tapestry mentioned here would be understood as a bed covering. There is a place wherein we find our rest and that is in Christ. The way that we enter this rest is by faith. While the Lord offers it to us, there is a role for us to play, and that is by way of belief. That same faith that warrants the believer rest is the same faith that clothes the believer in fine linen and purple. These are commonly understood to be the garments and colors of royalty. While Christ is the King, He has invited us to partake in His inheritance with Him and heirs in His Kingdom.

16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

It is also said concerning the believer,

9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
-1 Peter 2:9-10

We are clothed indeed with this fine linen and purple as we are consider heirs with Christ our King. We are a royal priesthood.
