Proverbs 30:33

33      For as the churning of milk produces butter,
And wringing the nose produces blood,
So the forcing of wrath produces strife.
-Proverbs 30:33

All throughout the Proverbs, we have learned about a lot of cause and effect. We have learned about reaping and sowing and the consequences of one's actions. This trend continues here. If one churns milk, butter will be produced. The intent of the individual hardly matters. If someone wrings or wrenches a nose, a nosebleed is certain to occur, once again, regardless of the intent of he who wrings it. As such, we should not be surprised at the consequence of strife when someone is pressed into anger. A provoked individual will respond provoked. We should weigh our actions carefully and understand what will be produced through it. Weigh your words as well as your actions. You can steer a man into madness by what you say. Let us be wise in all our conduct.
