Proverbs 30:15a

15      The leech has two daughters—
    Give and Give!

Craving is a powerful motive for many. The nature of craving is that it is rarely satisfied. While it may be temporarily quenched, often giving into cravings only increases the motivation and power it has over you. "Give!" It says. "Give!" It says again, this time louder and with more boldness. Many are grabbed by and led by craving in the flesh. When temptation makes itself known, many surrender their will to it. And once someone does, the appetite is wet. It is hard to be satisfied at one bite of ice cream when another bite is sat on the spoon. As such, the desire is hardly fulfilled. This should give us all the more motivation for being satisfied in the Lord. Let your contentment come from His Spirit. He gives the invitation to all to come drink the living water He gives and you shall never thirst again. Drink of the well and let your craving be quenched for good.
