Proverbs 29:25

    25      The fear of man brings a snare,
    But whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe.
-Proverbs 29:25

One of the biggest traps we have the ability to fall for is the fear of man. There is so much liberty to be had in only walking in the fear of the Lord. Surrounding the concept of fear is the concept of authority. If you have a fear of man, man will have authority over you. If you care about your reputation before men, how men see you, or what men will make of you, you have put them in a position of authority over you. How you are doing and how successful you are is dependent upon what they perceive. As such, many spend their lives constantly trying to adjust themselves in the perception of others and are left empty. Come to the end of their time here, men recognize the vanity of the life lived. A life lived unto the Lord is the life that is not squandered. Let us walk as the disciples did in Acts. Let us walk in the fear of the Lord and the comfort of the Holy Spirit. We will not be ensnared and we will be able to walk free. Blessed be the name of the Lord!
