Proverbs 29:24

    24      Whoever is a partner with a thief hates his own life;
    He swears to tell the truth, but reveals nothing.

We have developed our own artform as a society in not thinking through the consequences or implications of our actions. We do not consider the people we join ourselves to and what becomes of us through that. Take this proverb as an example. One who joins himself to a thief is destined for failure. He demonstrates the very same moral structure as the one he partners with. One is a thief and one becomes a liar. What view would a man need to have on his own life to join himself to sin? I pray that we can become wise in those we make our company with. I pray we would have the eyes to see their influence upon us.
