Proverbs 29:15
15The rod and rebuke give wisdom,
But a child left to himself brings shame to his mother.

It is no secret that we live in a very undisciplined world. Undisciplined children have grown into undisciplined adults that continue to act as children and share it for all to see. A parent may very well be present in the home, but in the way they conduct themselves to their children they can be just as absent or harmful as a parent that was never home. It is good to bring correction and discipline to children. For when they grow up, they will not live shameful lives. Praise the Lord that we have a Father in heaven who disciplines us well! I pray that we would be good recipients of Him and take to the instruction He leads us in. Blessed be the name of the Lord forever!
