Proverbs 28:28

    28      When the wicked arise, men hide themselves;
    But when they perish, the righteous increase.
-Proverbs 28:28

There is a common theme found in Scripture of the wicked rising up and men hiding away. But when wickedness has been dealt with, righteousness increases. We can easily interpret this for our individual lives. When wickedness rules in an individual's life, you see men become boys and women become girls. You watch as they flee and hide away within themselves as wickedness has its way with them. But when wickedness is dealt with, you see boys become men, girls become women, and you see righteousness thrive. We cannot underestimate the power that wickedness can have. It overthrows so much in our lives. Let it be put to death that righteousness may increase. For extra reading on this subject, read through Romans 6.
