Proverbs 28:1
The wicked flee when no one pursues,
But the righteous are bold as a lion.
-Proverbs 28:1
As someone who enjoys watching police badge cam videos, I am continuously astounded by the criminals that will run away, even when a cop is not pursuing them. The guilty conscience they have of knowing that they have done something wrong puts them in a place where they are prepared for consequences at any corner. They become paranoid. So when justice appears to be around the corner, they flee. What of the righteous? They stand bold. If you have the confidence of knowing you did not do something wrong, then you have no cause to run away. You have every cause to stand. This is why we can now boldly come before the throne of grace. We are made righteous through the blood of Jesus. So stand bold, you who are in Christ Jesus. He has made you righteous in His sight.
