Proverbs 25:13

13Like the cold of snow in time of harvest
Is a faithful messenger to those who send him,
For he refreshes the soul of his masters.
-Proverbs 25:13

Consider working with intense physical labor outside in the heat of the sun. After only a few moments of it, you find yourself exhausted, hoping to find a way to escape the heat. Imagine doing this day after day and finally a cool snow comes through. It is refreshing no longer needing to escape the heat. You can work as needed and your soul is refreshed. So is the same when good news is brought. When we bring news of how the Lord is working in our lives to those around us, especially those of the faith, it encourages and stirs up the soul. We are reminded that the Lord answers prayer, restores people, redeems, and ever lives to make intercession on our behalf. Share the news of how the Lord is at work in your life. Refresh those around you with the goodness of God. Be refreshed in yourself as others are stirred up as well. The Lord's goodness is all around for us to share in. So let us share in it together!
