Proverbs 23:26-28

    26      My son, give me your heart,
    And let your eyes observe my ways.
    27      For a harlot is a deep pit,
    And a seductress is a narrow well.
    28      She also lies in wait as for a victim,
    And increases the unfaithful among men.

This is a biblical, "Look into my eyes," kind of moment. You know those moments when you level truth with your children and you get down on their level to really make sure they get it? That is this moment here. Solomon is calling for his son to receive what is about to be said. Far too many fall victim to the harlot. Far too many are lured by the seductress. Use of pornography is skyrocketing among the entirety of our population, both of those in church and those outside of church, guy and girl alike. It is a rarity to find a movie or a show that does not advertise some form of sexually explicit content. Our minds are even trained to see it with some degree of normalcy. This should not be. Do not fall victim to her ways. Be faithful and be devoted unto the Lord. Let the word of God renew your mind.
