Proverbs 20:14
“It is good for nothing,” cries the buyer;
But when he has gone his way, then he boasts.

Surely we have all heard of this tactic. We error on the side of calling it haggling. Negotiating your way to a good deal is not always an issue. It does become an issue, however, when the practice becomes dishonest. In the same way a seller may oversell something to make it seem as though it is worth more than it really is, so also, one might undersell a product so that they may get a better deal. Honest and fair wages the Lord honors. If our haggling becomes dishonest, simply because of our own greed, it no longer becomes fair. We must have integrity in all we do. Let us glorify God with everything.
