Never underestimate the power of a kind word to someone. There was a period of time where I challenged myself to give compliments that people never heard before. It required me to really pay attention to people that I would have something to say. The thing that I had noticed, was regardless of whether or not they had heard it before, it brightened their day. Far too many of us speak up our complaints but fail to speak our praises. Pleasant words are sweet and can bring rejuvenation to others. Let us practice encouragement and uplifting one another in righteousness. Look for opportunity today to uplift someone and see how they respond.
