Proverbs 8:19-21

19      My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold,
And my revenue than choice silver.
20      I traverse the way of righteousness,
In the midst of the paths of justice,
21      That I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth,
That I may fill their treasuries.
-Proverbs 8:19-21

We have a habit of placing value on things with arbitrary reasonings. I believe if I were to ask what is the most valuable thing in your life, you'd be able to answer well and give the right response. However, does the pattern of your life reflect what you see to be the most valuable thing? If we see the depth of the value of wisdom, do we spend our time trying to gather that? If we see the importance of spending time with family, do we do so? It seems to me that we notice the value of these things, but we live as though entertainment and money are the foremost in value. Let us change our perspective and let our lives follow. Pursue after wisdom which is more valuable than any of the things of this world.
