Psalm 141:4
4Do not incline my heart to any evil thing,
To practice wicked works
With men who work iniquity;
And do not let me eat of their delicacies.
-Psalm 141:4
Over the last couple of devotions there has been a lot of discussion surrounding the importance of keeping ourselves in righteousness and staying away from wickedness. The edges of the narrow road are worn with believers trying to get as close to sin as possible without actually sinning. The problem here is self evident. We should seek to have our hearts inclined to righteousness instead of wickedness. This is similar to the prayer Jesus gave for His disciples to pray. Lead me not into temptation. We are looking for the leading of God as we navigate this life. As our Good Shepherd, He will lead us well. The question remains, will we follow? Do not participate in wickedness. Walk with caution around nonbelievers that you not be dragged into participating in such matters. Draw near to the Lord and grow in righteous living.
