Psalm 133
1Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!
2It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Running down on the beard,
The beard of Aaron,
Running down on the edge of his garments.
3It is like the dew of Hermon,
Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the Lord commanded the blessing—
Life forevermore.
-Psalm 133
After so many years of seeing so much division, the idea of genuine unity seems so far. The truth is that unity is hard to maintain. This is why we have been instructed to endeavor to keep the unity of the saints. The fact is that unity is possible. The issue is the flesh that gets in the way. When we are brought together in the Spirit, will we not have unity with one another? All that was done then is our flesh being entirely done away with. We need to not divide over fleshly issues when our concern is spiritual. Not every disagreement is cause for division. Let us seek to maintain unity with one another.
