Psalm 115:12-13
12The Lord has been mindful of us;
He will bless us;
He will bless the house of Israel;
He will bless the house of Aaron.
13He will bless those who fear the Lord,
Both small and great.
-Psalm 115:12-13
Early on in our marriage, Priscilla asked me what makes me feel special. I am sure most of the gentlemen reading this can resonate with me here in that I had never thought of such a thing. I could list off a few pet peeves, but what made me feel special was a strange concept. To help my wife in her pursuit of answering this question, I spent a long while considering different possibilities. Through months of thinking this over, it finally happened. A friend of mine from college reached out just to see how I was doing. It made my year. Having someone be mindful of me and taking the extra step to just reach out and see how I was doing was mind blowing to me. Not only did they care enough about me to think about me, but they cared enough to reach out to me.
Oh how the Lord is mindful of us! There is no intentionality like His! He considers us constantly and has taken those steps to reach out to us. He sent His Son, gave us His Word, and continues to minister to us even now. He does bless us! Praise the Lord for the love with which He has loved us. Hallelujah! Rejoice in the Lord and consider how He has been mindful of you. May you find the greatness of His love toward you. Amen.
He will bless us;
He will bless the house of Israel;
He will bless the house of Aaron.
13He will bless those who fear the Lord,
Both small and great.
