Psalm 100

1Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
2Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
3Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
4Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
5For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.

There is an incredible encouragement found in this passage. Even in the few years of my life, I have seen a rapid growth of wickedness. There is no doubt that it is continuing to grow and will. Many doubt that righteousness prevails through this. Take another look at verse 5.

For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.

No matter how wicked this world has been, the Lord's truth persists. His mercy is persistent and His goodness is unceasing. Take heart as you look upon the chaos our world is in. Remember that the Lord reigns and that there is always a faithful remnant that is saved. His truth always prevails! Rejoice in the Lord's faithfulness!
