Psalm 92:1-4

1It is good to give thanks to the Lord, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;
2To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning,
And Your faithfulness every night,
3On an instrument of ten strings,
On the lute,
And on the harp,
With harmonious sound.
4For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work;
I will triumph in the works of Your hands.
-Psalm 92:1-4

Imagine instead of having groggy mornings and grumpy evenings we had praise-filled mornings and evenings. How would things look in your life if you were eager to give praise to the Lord? Instead of needing more coffee to be yourself, you need more Jesus to be who you are supposed to be. What would your life look like if you used your gifts and talents for praising and honoring the Lord? I am sure the vast majority of us going through these are in that place of already walking this out, though it is good to have a reminder.

Be swift to give praise to the Lord in your waking and in your sleeping. I can think of no better way to start and end the day than praise to the Lord. Praise Him throughout the day and rejoice in His name. Use your energy to honor Him. As I heard one Pastor say, "You only had one opportunity for yesterday." Did you spend it in praise? What will you do with today?
