Psalm 91:14-16

14“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”
-Psalm 91:14-16

The voice changes in the final section of Psalm 91. While the majority of it is spoken from the voice of the Psalmist, the last portion shifts to the voice of the Lord. What we end up with is the Gospel in short. We love Him because He first loved us. As we respond with this love we enter in faith and are delivered. Humbling ourselves before the Lord, we are exalted and lifted up. Our prayers are heard by the Lord and answered. He will never leave nor forsake us and will not leave us ashamed. We will live eternally as He demonstrates the incredible saving grace that He has for us. Praise the Lord for the work He has accomplished!
