Psalm 86:11-13

11Teach me Your way, O Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name.
12I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart,
And I will glorify Your name forevermore.
13For great is Your mercy toward me,
And You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.
-Psalm 86:11-13

As I study through the Psalms, I find myself humbled by the cries of being taught by the Lord. Perhaps it is only me, but I so frequently feel like what I learn is entirely on me when it comes to study of the Word. However, the Lord gave us His very Spirit that we would be guided into all truth. He sent a Helper to help us walk this life out, which means He sent this Helper to teach us how to walk.

Do not hesitate to cry out to the Lord to be taught by Him. Be persistent in this prayer. Approach the Lord with a humble heart and be open to what He shares. From this place you may walk in truth and continue to give praise to God. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. As we are led into the word of God, so the further we may walk by faith. Seek His face and He will be found.
