Psalm 86:8-10

8Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord;
Nor are there any works like Your works.
9All nations whom You have made
Shall come and worship before You, O Lord,
And shall glorify Your name.
10For You are great, and do wondrous things;
You alone are God.
-Psalm 86:8-10

Due to many limitations, there is a description of the Lord that we seem to fail to grasp. That is that the Lord is holy. The term holy means to be separate. There is nothing in all of created order like our God. To demonstrate the capacity of what that means would be an understatement no matter how you would put it. It is what causes fullness of wonder. It is beyond complete comprehension. There is no analogy that could be used to grasp this because there is NOTHING like Him. He is simply beyond.

As He is called holy, He is not like mankind. He is completely and utterly perfect and righteous. He is completeness in entirety. Surely He is worthy of all worship and praise! Surely our lives ought to be glorifying to Him. As He is holy, so are we called to emulate Him. Just as Paul writes to the church of Ephesus, be imitators of God as dear children. Worship the Lord your God knowing that He is truly above all else.
