Psalm 84:1-4

1How lovely is Your tabernacle,
O Lord of hosts!
2My soul longs, yes, even faints
For the courts of the Lord;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
3Even the sparrow has found a home,
And the swallow a nest for herself,
Where she may lay her young—
Even Your altars, O Lord of hosts,
My King and my God.
4Blessed are those who dwell in Your house;
They will still be praising You.

-Psalm 84:1-4

We are strangers here on earth. This is not our home. As Paul describes life in these earthly vessels, he calls it his tent. We are sojourners here on earth. The sooner we grasp this reality, the sooner we can start living for what really has meaning. Our purpose is to be in His dwelling place. As we tabernacle with the Lord, we are filled. We must abide with Him in all the we do.

Apart from the Lord we can do nothing. As we strive for treasures of this world, we become divided and ineffective in our faith. Examine yourself sincerely. What are you living for? Are you living for the things of this world or thing above, where our mind is to be set? Give praise to the Lord and live for Him! Pursue dwelling with Him and find rest in His presence.
