Psalm 65:2-4
2O You who hear prayer,
To You all flesh will come.
3Iniquities prevail against me;
As for our transgressions,
You will provide atonement for them.
4Blessed is the man You choose,
And cause to approach You,
That he may dwell in Your courts.
We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house,
Of Your holy temple.
-Psalm 65:2-4
If you are in Christ, you are truly blessed indeed. There is a saying that I have come to love. Hell is not Hell because it is bad, and Heaven is not Heaven because it is good. Hell is Hell because it is the absence of all things from God, and Heaven is Heaven because it is the fullness of all things of God. God is the reward! To be in His presence is to be in the presence of the very source of goodness and enjoyment! To be brought before Him is the absolute depth of blessing.
Let us learn to approach the throne of grace knowing that we will be satisfied in His goodness alone. Let us approach our Savior with hearts filled with praise!
