Psalm 56:5-13

5All day they twist my words;
All their thoughts are against me for evil.
6They gather together,
They hide, they mark my steps,
When they lie in wait for my life.
7Shall they escape by iniquity?
In anger cast down the peoples, O God!
8You number my wanderings;
Put my tears into Your bottle;
Are they not in Your book?
9When I cry out to You,
Then my enemies will turn back;
This I know, because God is for me.
10In God (I will praise His word),
In the Lord (I will praise His word),
11In God I have put my trust;
I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?

12Vows made to You are binding upon me, O God;
 I will render praises to You,
 13For You have delivered my soul from death.
 Have You not kept my feet from falling,
 That I may walk before God
 In the light of the living?
-Psalm 56:5-13

There is another matter of fear that we must confront, and it is something that should bring great peace to you. When we have our trust in the Lord and our focus is spiritual we get the opportunity to see things through the lens of God. Yet still sometimes our flesh desires to fear and we have that pressure sitting on our stomachs even though we are looking at things through the way God sees them. You are denying the flesh the pleasure of giving in to fear but the weight of it is still there. Pray.

As we enter into that place of prayer not only are we submitting to the Lord even further concerning fear we may be enduring, but we also are putting ourselves into the arms of our Comforter. I love the personal language used of our tears are put into His bottle. Our cries to Him do not go missed. Fear can be a frustrating thing when you know it does not need to be there. Cling to the Lord and continue to trust in Him. He is our Comforter and evermore will be.
