Psalm 46:8-9

8Come, behold the works of the Lord,
Who has made desolations in the earth.
9He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
He burns the chariot in the fire.
-Psalm 46:8-9

The victory of the Lord is something I like to keep very close to the forefront of my mind. Among every hero in the faith of my own this was something they all prioritized as well. In fact, this is something that all of the writers in the New Testament kept to as well as is the focus of many Psalms. There is little to no doubt in most believers minds that victory is the Lord's. Having such an understanding that the Lord rules and reigns, we should also have this at the forefront of our minds.

Remember the works of the Lord on where He has already displayed victory for you. Commit those to memory and praise the Lord for them. Remember that He brings forth victory and in those seasons where it seems so far off you will be renewed with vigor and zeal knowing that the Lord brings forth victory.
