Psalm 37:23-24
23The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in his way.
24Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;
For the Lord upholds him with His hand.
-Psalm 37:23-24
The Lord is delighted when you walk in goodness. Being that you are made righteous through the blood of Christ, you exist in His goodness. He strengthens you and picks you up when you are knocked down. Should it be that you fall to temptation, lack of faith, or are simply struggling in day to day life the Lord is eagerly ready with an open hand to pick you up.
This passage reminds me of when Peter was called out by Jesus to walk on the water. Peter steps out and begins to walk on the water, yet with the chaos of the storm he was in he took his eyes off of Jesus. Immediately he sank down and cried out for Jesus to save Him. Jesus, ready with an outstretched arm, reached down and pulled Peter up to safety. Though Peter fell due to lack of faith he was not cast down. Instead the Lord upheld him. As you traverse through the waters of this life there may come moments like this where you start to fall. Cry out to the Lord who is ready to rescue you and see for yourself that the Lord will uphold you with His hand.
And He delights in his way.

For the Lord upholds him with His hand.
