Psalm 34:11-14

    11      Come, you children, listen to me;
    I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
    12      Who is the man who desires life,
    And loves many days, that he may see good?
    13      Keep your tongue from evil,
    And your lips from speaking deceit.
    14      Depart from evil and do good;
    Seek peace and pursue it.
-Psalm 34:11-14

Learn the fear of the Lord. It is vitality for you as a believer as it keeps you in the path of righteousness. There is an incredible lack of the fear of the Lord within modern churches that we must make ourselves aware of. Sin is being permitted, practices that are opposing to the Lord is being practiced, and wickedness is being celebrated. While this is taking place in many churches, I find even further how these are taking place within the lives of so many proclaimed believers.

The fear of the Lord lets us depart from evil and keeps us from it. It acts as guard rails that keep us on the path we are supposed to be on for we know what lies outside the path. Examine your life and ask the Lord to reveal anything in your life that you may not be walking in obedience to Him in. Depart from all forms of wickedness and pursue righteousness.
