Psalm 33:4-9

    4      For the word of the LORD is right,
    And all His work is done in truth.
    5      He loves righteousness and justice;
    The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

    6      By the word of the LORD the heavens were made,
    And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.
    7      He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap;
    He lays up the deep in storehouses.

    8      Let all the earth fear the LORD;
    Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
    9      For He spoke, and it was done;
    He commanded, and it stood fast.

The perspective the Christian has on the world is vital to how he walks his faith out. Between social media, news outlets, and modern day grumbling our perspective can become easily skewed. There comes a point where a believer loses the ability to be creative in praise because of an inability to see the work of the Lord. Scripture is clear that the earth is FULL with the goodness of the Lord! Why? Because it is the very work of His word.

The words of God are not something to be taken lightly. We ought to hold them in extremely high esteem. The command of God is so mighty that all of creation walks in obedience to it. All things came to be from His word. How then can we so devalue His word that we refrain from investing any time into it? We must fear the Lord and be in awe of Him. How can anyone or anything hold back One who can command all creation? His word is right and true. Heed it dearly and cherish it deeply.
