Proverbs 29:22
22An angry man stirs up strife,
And a furious man abounds in transgression.

There are times in which anger is right and righteous. However, a hot-tempered individual rarely exhibits such righteousness in their anger. What we see coming from them is strife and transgression, and those things growing all the more. We must be careful and selective with that which we allow to make us angry. The anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. As such, we must ensure that we are walking in the righteousness of God and that which angers us is that which angers the Lord. This is a certain safeguard to keep our anger in check and let there be righteousness produced from it. Let the Lord be the meditation of your heart. Not that thing that enrages you.
