Hebrews 13:15-25 | What's happening (and who's involved)?

With this passage, we officially conclude the book of Hebrews. This section gives some final instruction of Christian conduct and character that should be expected among believers. The first of this is for the believer to continue to offer the sacrifice of praise. From that place, the expectation of doing good among fellow believers is addressed. They are exhorted to obey their leaders who are watching out for their souls as ones who must give an account. Then the writer of Hebrews asks that the recipients of the letter would pray for them and more specifically for him that he would be able to return to them soon.

As with most letters in that day, a closing benediction is given. In this benediction the whole of the focus of this letter is brought to a conclusion. It once again addresses the greatness of Jesus and His impact on the believer as well as the mission that is then to be carried out. Jesus is the One who sufficiently equips for every good work, and so they then can go out in those good works and walk in them. After giving a few more instructions, the writer concludes the letter.
