Proverbs 31:26

26      She opens her mouth with wisdom,
And on her tongue is the law of kindness.
-Proverbs 31:26

Here we see the way that the believer ought to live out the expression of their lives. When we were born again, we were not simply saved so that we could go to heaven. We were transformed, and are being transformed. Scripture makes Christian conduct and character very critical themes for us. Look at how Ephesians 4 talks about this.

29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
-Ephesians 4:29-32

What is it that should proceed out of our mouths? Is it not wisdom? Should we not be kind as those who have received such great kindness toward us who believe? As that has been placed in us, it should also flow through us.
